Speech Language Pathologist Job Description

Summary of Speech Language Pathologist [SLP] Job Description:

The SLP will be responsible for providing outpatient Speech Therapy services for ODOM REHAB in an ethical and professional manner. Speech Therapy services for ODOM REHAB will be provided in accordance with each specific state guidelines.

The employee shall also perform (i) such other duties as are customarily performed by an employee in a similar position, and (ii) such other and unrelated services and duties as may be assigned to the employee from time to time by ODOM REHAB.

LOCATIONS: Bloomington, Edina, Eagan, Prior Lake

Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist:

• Evaluate and treat patients in accordance with state guidelines
• Establish appropriate POC (Plans of Care) for the patients
• Update POC as necessary for the patients care
• Develop discharge plan for patients
• Document patients’ treatment on a daily basis based on established and accepted practice guidelines
• Submit appropriate charges on a daily basis for Speech Therapy services provided that date
• Communicate on a regular basis with the physician and medical staff regarding patients’ current status or change in status
• Assist in developing and updating ODOM REHAB treatment protocols on an as needed basis
• Actively participate in ODOM REHAB staff meetings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00 - $41.00 per hour
