A typical day for a Staff Development Coordinator includes:

  • Responsible for creating and enacting training programs for employees to ensure best Nurse practices
  • Scheduling training programs on all shifts when there is a need, and being able to attend
  • Participating in on-call Nurse Manager rotation
  • Completing audits and monitoring to ensure the best possible outcomes for the Residents

RN Staff Development Requirements:

  • Graduate from Accredited Nursing School and a minimum of one to two years related experience preferred
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred
  • Valid State License/Certification
  • Basic CPR/first aid training
