A typical day for a Staff Development Coordinator includes:
- Responsible for creating and enacting training programs for employees to ensure best Nurse practices
- Scheduling training programs on all shifts when there is a need, and being able to attend
- Participating in on-call Nurse Manager rotation
- Completing audits and monitoring to ensure the best possible outcomes for the Residents
RN Staff Development Requirements:
- Graduate from Accredited Nursing School and a minimum of one to two years related experience preferred
- Previous teaching experience is preferred
- Valid State License/Certification
- Basic CPR/first aid training
