Stand up forklift Operator Job at Eastern Labor
We are looking for energetic Stand-up Forklift Operators to join our team!! You will operate the Stand-up Forklift while ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products.
Pay Rate: $18.00- $19.00 per hour
Available shifts:
First shift: $18.00 3:00am-3:00pm
Second shift: $19.00 3:00pm-3:00am
Responsibilities:
- Perform required tasks operating Dock Stocker Crown reverse Steering, barcode readers and safety equipment, etc.
- Transport material to and from designated areas in the facility.
- Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently. Equipment Dock Stocker Crown reverse Steering forklifts and radio frequency equipment.
- Ability to check trailers in/out, post Bill of Ladings as required, scan to Bill of Ladings to Network.
- Charge or change forklift battery as needed.
- Load and unload freight using equipment in an efficient and safe manner when needed.
- Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation.
Abilities:
- Able to safely operate a forklift and maintain site certification to operate powered industrial vehicle
- Good communication skills
- Able to think under pressure and make quick decisions
- Ability to work well in a team or alone
