THE POSITION
This position's key responsibilities include:
- Learns and assists the Retail Store Manager in implementation of strategies necessary to meet or achieve sales goal.
- Assists the Retail Store Managers in interviewing and training staff for all retail location.
- Learns all necessary duties of operating the retail store.
- Oversees and works with store donations: receiving, processing, and tagging.
- Reviews and oversees the schedules and work of staff.
- Shadows the Retail Store Managers when coaching and managing the performance of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
- Assists in coordinating staff and fulfills staffing needs for regular hours, as well as special events or high-traffic times.
- Maintains and motivates a positive sales team through communication, incentives, and evaluations.
- Confirms daily sales reports and cash receipts; ensures monies are deposited regularly, and reports are submitted as prescribed by company policies.
- Addresses customer needs and resolves issues, ensuring positive and long-term customer relationships.
- Ensures inventory data is correct by performing spot inventory counts and checks. Uses company software to research, analyze, and track purchases.
- Ensures that the store always looks clean and inviting.
- Places and rotates merchandise to attract positive attention from customers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma required. Associate's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience leading a team.
- Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a retail or production related job (ie. Landscape Foreman, Production Foreman in Manufacturing, Crew Lead in Construction).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Retail Experience.
