Overview:
The Strategic Marketing Analyst coordinates, supports and manages marketing projects (or portions of projects) with the Director and/or Marketing Managers. This individual plays a versatile role on the team and is eager to support marketing initiatives to ensure their success. Day-to-day activities will vary from analytical tasks to summarizing information and creating presentation decks. This individual is a team player, is passionate about marketing strategy, loves to learn, is flexible, has great attention to detail, delivers high quality work, and seeks personal and professional growth opportunities.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Analyzes external and internal customer data. Uses Excel to analyze data, creates graphs and charts. Creates PowerPoint slides with key findings.
- Identifies target audiences and gather analytics to prepare strategies for success in marketing campaigns / programs with an impact on sales outcomes
- Interpret research about the company’s customers and their buying habits
- Uses industry reports and websites to summarize macro trends and competitive landscape
- Creates PowerPoint presentations to provide market and consumer insights to marketing team members and sales departments
- Works with Marketing team members to develop compelling value propositions for our products
- Participates in strategy sessions to identify new industry or product opportunities, supports the creation of go-to-market plans and implementation of materials and tools
- Prepares presentations for internal and customer-facing audiences
- Collaborates with other teams including Procurement/Supply Chain, Sales/Service Operations, Pricing, and Legal based on project needs
- Performs ad hoc reporting responsibilities and other marketing tasks
Removed:
- Supports the creative development process by submitting creative briefs, providing feedback on proofs, reviewing with Legal, and coordinating with the printer
- Helps coordinate logistics, products, and activities for tradeshows or photo / video shoots
- Assists with marketing automation efforts
- Runs reports in various systems to track marketing campaign activities, revenue, and ROI.
- Knowledge of CRM systems like Salesforce.com
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong Excel skills to analyze raw data, create charts/graphs, and summarize key findings
- Strong PowerPoint skills to formulate / communicate findings and recommendations to senior executives
- Demonstrated business savvy to effectively communicate and work with team and other executives in support of achieving business goals
- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities between multiple business units
- Proficiency and comfortable presenting to team and company leaders
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Working Environment/Safety Requirements:
Experience/Qualifications:
- 3+ years of marketing experience, B2B marketing preferred
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration preferred
License Requirements/Certifications:

Compensation: The salary rate for this position ranges from $45K to $70K, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
