Your role: In your role as Strategy Analyst, you will assist in the planning, development, execution, and completion of various research and data analysis projects (primary and secondary data). You will research, analyze, and report financial information to support management decision-making, and inform management of areas of risk using indicators such as key ratios, trend analysis, and other tracking methods. You will also understand the fundamentals of asset liability management and use this knowledge to facilitate any assessments (pricing, mix, trend, liquidity, spread, net economic value) to ALCO and/or executive management.

In this role you will:

• Working side by side with strategy and executive team members, to gather information and generate reports needed to review and discuss the strategic implementation of corporate mission and goals.
• Proactively pursue revenue and cost optimization strategies, while monitoring competitive movements and industry benchmarks.
• Analyze and compile ALCO memos to support tactics for lending and marketing.
• Query data and perform ad hoc analysis for internal and external departments.
• Analyze and compile ALCO memos to support tactics for lending and marketing.
• Assist with research and track strategic initiatives. (i.e., digital member acquisition)
• Assemble monthly strategy reports and ensure alignment of strategic initiatives to budget.
• Perform timely and accurate reporting and analysis to assist management in operations of the credit union.
• Keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting the credit union.
• Commitment to Credit Unions' needs and maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Comply with all security guidelines related to physical and information security.
• Comply with the requirements of all Credit Union policies, procedures, and guidelines including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering regulations as they relate to the position.

You'll need to have:

• A bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field
• One or more years of similar or related experience

Even better if you have:

• Experience in the banking industry
• Extensive knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
