We are looking for a Strategy & Business Transformation Senior Consultant to join our Advisory Department. Citrin Cooperman’s Strategy & Business Transformation practice helps mid-market companies maximize their value and achieve the goals of their owners. We combine traditional management consulting practices in strategy, operations, technology, and talent to deliver high-impact projects to our clients. We pride ourselves on creating an innovative consulting model for mid-market companies that can move quickly, iterate effectively, and ultimately help our clients execute and see the results in their businesses.

As a Senior Consultant, you will lead and deliver small to medium projects or components of large, complex client engagements, generally working for a practice Director or Partner. These projects can include managing the execution of business process, systems, and/or organizational transformation, the development of strategy and planning deliverables, and overseeing internal and external specialists assisting our core team. You will build and run PMOs, advise on technology decisions, perform client interviews, perform data analysis, and make recommendations on client business processes. You will also build and manage project plans, create and run project portfolio management efforts, and work to become a trusted advisor to mid and senior-level client staff.


Qualifications:

  • Between 5-8 years of experience with a consulting firm or 7-10 years of experience in a corporate role delivering strategy and operations projects
  • Experience in one of the following practice areas: systems implementation, project management, finance transformation
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational data and synthesize findings in common business language
  • Excellent business writing and presentation skills
  • Superior organization skills with the ability and desire to balance multiple projects of varying complexity at the same time
  • Strong Project Management Office (PMO) skills including developing project plans, resource loading plans, managing issues and risks, and managing project budgets
  • Understanding of cross-functional coordination and managing both dotted and solid line relationships at different levels of a company
  • Deep understanding of change management practices, particularly stakeholder analysis and communications
  • Broad understanding of how businesses operate and compete, and an understanding of the relationship between major functional areas
  • Deep expertise in the operations of two or more industries
  • Deep expertise in one or more of the following functional areas: finance, sales operations, manufacturing, supply chain
  • A desire to work collaboratively, a natural ability to network, and a great sense of humor
  • Experience with a consulting practice of a Big 4 accounting firm or a Big 3 consultancy
  • Understanding of relational databases and SQL
  • Broad understanding of the use of enterprise systems in large organizations and trends in cloud applications, system integration, and mobile technologies
  • Understanding of or certifications in Lean/Six-Sigma
  • Familiarity with or certifications in Agile/Scrum software development methodologies

For positions in New York City, the salary range is: $82,000 – $150,000 plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.

For positions in California, the salary range is $85,000- $140,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
