Swing Shift Admin - PORTLAND, OR Job at WCP Solutions
Summary:
Contribute to the operational effectiveness of the Portland Division by providing excellent customer service in the Will-Call office during the Swing Shift. Hours are 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday - Friday with possible over time.
Essential Functions:
Answer the phone in the will-call office
Separate shipping paperwork and match orders to picklists.
Greet and assist will-call customers, including processing payments and loading orders into customers' vehicles.
Enter order changes into the system.
Keep the will-call area neat and clean.
Follow proper safety procedures and perform all job duties in a safe manner.
Other Functions:
Assist warehouse staff in other areas when possible.
Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications:
One year of experience working in a warehouse preferred.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Basic math, reading and writing skills.
Strong organizational skills; ability to communicate at all levels of organization and with employees of other companies, and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
Customer service oriented, with the ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to work without direct supervision.
Ability to use basic office equipment (computer, mouse, keyboard, phone).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds waist high on a frequent basis.
Ability to stand/walk on a constant basis.
Working Conditions:
- Warehouse and shipping dock environment, working in all weather conditions.
- Overtime, weekends, and participation in annual physical inventory required.
- Shift is Monday-Friday, 2 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.
