Responsibilities
- Maintaining, troubleshooting and building windows systems
- Maintenance of anti-virus/end point protection
- Managing software licences
- Vendor management of IT hardware, Software and Licenses
- Troubleshooting desktop issues, primarily on Windows but also MacOS
- Helping users resolve IT problems.
- Adding/deleting new users
- Managing access control to internal and external resources
Qualifications
- Solid background in working with Windows environments, comfortable across Active Directory, Servers and Office365
- Background in solving networking problems within LAN, WAN and VoIP.
- Ability to anticipate load and hardware requirements.
- Ability to source computer hardware that meet the Company's requirements.
- Knowledge of firewall configuration
- Knowledge of DNS and DHCP
- Basic knowledge of Linux operating system and experience with virtualization platforms (VMWare)
- Ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Background of working within a help desk environment. (Min 2 years)
