We are in search of a Systems Administrator-Accounting to join our Application Services department in Spokane, Washington. This full-time position reports to the VP-Application Services and optimizes configuration, governance, maintenance and Tier 2 production support of software applications and tools to build effective customer support and employee interaction and engagement for financial, loan, lease and operations accounting team members across the enterprise. This position is a member of the Accounting Delivery team and will also work with project teams, architects, technical development teams, third-party service providers, business leaders and end users to address business challenges and opportunities and drive adoption of accounting related software applications.

The base salary range for this position is:

Level I: $51,404 - $84,226; bonus at target is 8 or 10% of salary depending on experience.

Level II: $68,000 - $114,000; bonus at target is 10 or 15% of salary depending on experience.

Job Requirements

  • Participate as a member of the Accounting Delivery Team to build relationships with stakeholders, develop and deliver solutions based on user needs and feedback, and develop roadmaps for future enhancements and projects.
  • Perform routine system administration tasks across select applications including editing configurations, maintenance of user roles, security settings, profiles, and overall user entitlement access.
  • Develop system controls and security profile roles and perform ongoing system access reviews and related control processes.
  • Support design, configuration, integration, and other operational activities ensuring effective and consistent use of financial, loan and lease accounting applications.
  • Develop knowledge and skill with software applications used by financial, loan, lease and operations accounting staff.
  • Coordinate, conduct and validate testing of enhancements, upgrades and other changes for financial, loan and lease accounting-specific applications.
  • Provide Tier 2 production support for financial, loan and lease accounting applications.
  • Map application capabilities and features to business goals to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with project teams and service providers for applications and system integration best practices.
  • Assist in leading and driving adoption of applications and tools.
  • Contribute to the operating model for applications including both production support and continuous delivery.
  • Communicate system changes, assist with creation of training materials, and identify use cases in support of employee adoption.
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise for applications including leveraging emerging technologies and features.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to think critically and to translate business opportunities into customer-centric solutions.
  • Understanding of basic business analysis and project management concepts.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, organize and control assigned activities.
  • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with loan, lease and/or corporate accounting policies, processes and procedures.
  • Relevant hands-on experience with software system administration.
  • Experience providing applications support for end users.
  • Experience testing software applications.
