LearnWell is currently looking for our next creative and passionate teacher to fill a full-time school year teaching position in Lowell, MA. We would love to collaborate with you and help more kids journey towards their full potential. The certified teacher will work in a unique psychiatric health facility and treatment center; which involves working with pediatric and adolescent students in a small classroom setting and supporting them academically with common core subjects while they are receiving treatment.

Essential functions of the job may include but are not limited to the following:

• Plan, prepare and deliver daily lesson plans and instructional material for an average of 6 to 10 students; in a small group setting
• Help students one-on-one if extra assistance is needed on their individual school curriculum.
• Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction
• Communicate necessary information regularly to students, hospital and parents regarding student progress and student needs
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies
• Updating daily attendance and creating daily session reports for each student

This position is a 40-hour week commitment, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. Position also includes a $500 sign on bonus! $250.00 bonus after teacher's first day and then remaining $250.00 after 90 days of employment. Qualifications:

• B.A/B.S degree from an accredited institution
• MA State Teaching Certification or open to obtain an MA Emergency Certification.
• Comfortable working with students aged 5-18
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to students need

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
