About the Position

The pulmonary disease specialist will be responsible for overseeing the clinical management of a steady patient panel in their local neighborhood. This position serves as a leader to the clinical team, utilizing remote patient monitoring technology and a care delivery system that redefines the pulmonary care experience. The service provided has been designed to provide seamless and effective care to you and your patients. Our process begins with a physician who evaluates the patient during scheduled virtual clinic days. With access to medical records prior to the visit, we can improve the patient care experience and provide a thorough and complete clinical assessment.

Responsibilities

- Office visits for pulmonary disease management - Outpatient exacerbation management for acute patients - Advanced practice provider supervision and management - Management of support staff to deliver innovative care models - Supervise pulmonary rehabilitation offerings - Can work from your home office using web-based video conferencing - Patients are screened and prepared for you by a qualified professional prior to each office visit - Qualified professional provides a comprehensive clinical review of each patient prior to the visit and is on-site and available during the session with the patient for additional records review

Requirements

- At the time of application, you MUST hold a CURRENT and unrestricted MD/DO license in the state of Georgia - MUST have a current DEA that is registrable to an address in Georgia - MUST be board certified in Pulmonology - MUST have a current NPI number in your name (not corporate) - Minimum two (2) years experience as a Pulmonologist - Must have no history of malpractice - Ability to collaborate with Nurse Practitioners - Must be professionally proficient in English (Fluency in Spanish is a plus!) - A genuine passion for patient care!

  • $200/Hr
