Teller Job at NECHES FEDERAL CREDIT UNION
Our Tellers deliver exceptional service while assisting members with their financial needs. We are looking for a candidate that possess the following skills; a high school diploma or equivalent, good verbal and written communication skills, math aptitude, and keyboarding skills. In addition, we are looking for punctual and regular attendance, the ability to work independently while displaying initiative and decision-making, a team player, and a high level of professionalism. They use their knowledge and pro-active problem solving skills to educate members about our products and services. Team Neches continues to be true to the credit union commitments. ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6-months cash handling or teller experience
JOB SUMMARY:
- Processing member transactions, i.e. deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cashing checks, loan payments, credit card cash advances etc.
- Issuing money orders, cashier checks, and hunting/fishing license tags
- Responsible for balancing teller drawer
- Completing various transaction reports
Classification: non-exempt
Location: Administration Building in Port Neches
Hours: Scheduled for 40-hours per week between the hours of
Monday through Thursday 8:15AM to 5:15PM
Fridays 8:15AM to 5:15PM or 9:15AM to 6:15PM
Rotating Saturdays 6:45AM to 10:15PM
