We are currently looking for a Temporary Night Gang Foreman based in our Madawaska location to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Direct supervision of gangs
- Track inspection
- Effectively dealing with performance & safety issues
- Complete & submit accurate/timely paperwork complying with all company regulations, policies & procedures
- Assist with planning & managing maintenance/initiatives in this area
- Provide safety meetings with your crew; promoting a safe work environment
- Monitor crew performance (operational tests, etc.)
- Safe & efficient operation of machine/equipment
- Must perform Track Maintainer duties (as required)
- Flexibility to train on more than 1 piece of equipment if required
- Must be willing to work nights, approx shift is Monday-Friday, 3pm-11pm
Education Requirements/Knowledge & Skills:
- Must be CROR qualified, with extensive track experience & knowledgeable in company policies/regulations
- Completed Track Inspector course
- Prior leadership experience would be an asset
- Excellent organizational skills & strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication & negotiation skills
- Ability to make decisions as required
- Possess a commitment to customer service, productivity, teamwork and safe working practices
