What You’ll Do

• Serve as primary contact with assigned agencies and accounts.

• Work with Underwriting, Loss Control, and Claims and Operations to determine acceptability of the risk and services needed

• Provide comprehensive sales expertise to agents to increase production.

• Initiate and implement market development programs designed to support and enhance market segmentation, penetration, sales, and profitability.

• Promote Sentry products and services to existing and potential customers.

• Provide policy coverage education and communicate and illustrate competition differentiation and educate producers and customer service representatives regarding products and programs.

• Plan and conduct agency and account meetings

What it Takes

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

• 5+ years of related work experience with previous transportation experience, preferably in sales, underwriting, claims, safety or products that relate within the transportation industry

• Thorough knowledge of insurance products in Transportation

• Highly motivated self starter with the drive to be a top performer

• Exceptional communication, organization and selling skills

• Ability to meet travel expectations and have a valid driver’s license with the ability to maintain an acceptable motor vehicle record
