PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a member of the leadership team you will build a business through recruiting, developing and motivating Agents. Collaborate with members of the leadership team to ensure Training & Development and Recruiting processes are followed and the appropriate tracking tools are effectively utilized. Attracts, evaluates, selects and trains new candidates into productive professionals. Provides ongoing training/development for existing and more experienced Agents.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Recruit, train and develop a unit of productive Agents by creating marketing/prospecting and sales strategies.
  • Provides ongoing training for each reporting Agent to include: Activity management, weekly development, sales coaching and field training (demonstration and case design)
  • Actively participates in the Agent Recruiting Process by providing Warm-Source candidates, participate in interviews and providing input into the Selection process.
  • Ensures that only well-trained Agents are representing the Company to our customers serving as a role model for RELI Exchange through leadership and by example.
  • Develops a professional sales force and assures Company needs for sales and succession planning are met by implementing effective unit recruitment, selection, and retention strategies. Maintain a mentoring and career counseling relationship with contracted Agents.
  • Develop and maintain a professional representation of RELI Exchange in local community, insurance industry and professional associations; be active in local community and association activities.
  • Develops and maintains effective professional relationships within the company to achieve revenue, sales, customer growth, and profit goals for the unit; facilitates the accurate identification and resolution of problems; and participates in and supports Company initiatives
  • Support the COO in the total management of the organization; remain focused on long-term objectives, make sound business decisions in support of Company goals, and comply with all Company policies, federal and state regulations and industry guidelines. Ensure that the assigned Agents comply with state, federal, industry and corporate requirements.
  • If working in a remote office, may act as point of contact for administrative and logistical functions related to that office.
  • This position may require frequent standing or walking for extended periods of time.
  • This position requires some travel, which may include flying and/or driving and some overnight stays.

Minimum Requirements

  • Current insurance license (ability to obtain Property, Casualty, Life, and Health Insurance License within thirty days of offer)
  • In depth knowledge of the insurance industry practices and trends, current sales methodology, business and personnel management principles and practices, multi-line insurance fundamentals, state and federal regulations
  • Proven sales skills and the ability to motivate others
  • Current license or ability to become licensed with companies deemed necessary by RELI Exchange
  • Access to reliable transportation
  • Smartphone and Windows 11 or newer Laptop

Preferred Requirements

  • Active Property, Casualty, Life, and Health Insurance License in the state of Illinois
  • Product knowledge, with expertise personal and commercial property, casualty, life, health and indexed markets
  • Strong agent recruiting, selection, training and retention skills
  • Strong verbal/written communication, human relations and leadership skills
  • Solid innovative/problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions
  • Proficiency in applicable software and technology including Microsoft Office, GSuite Products and EzLynx
  • Ability to prepare and implement marketing and prospecting plans

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
