Eiden Systems Corporation are looking for a highly talented and experienced Test and Evaluation Engineer with a SECRET clearance, for an upcoming proposal. You will be an invaluable asset within the Test Team with an in-depth knowledge of the functional and technical capabilities of automated test tools. You will be supporting the PKI Portfolio by analyzing, designing, developing, testing, coding, integrating, documenting, in-stalling, operating, evaluating, maintaining, and supporting improvements to PKI Portfolio System capabilities.

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Verify and validate the performance of various operational testing activities.
  • Perform load testing on all systems to assess the number of concurrent connections the system can withstand without failure.
  • Support the documenting of technical procedures and tracking of hardware and software.
  • Perform activities to assist in maintaining accurate system status and use statistics during test.  This may include the actual monitoring of system network management tools.
  • Document ongoing issues in bug-tracking software, such as Remedy and JIRA.
  • Prepare and deliver Change Requests (CRs) to reflect proposed baseline changes identified during development, operational testing, sustainment, and operations support to customers.
  • Deliver test plans and test reports as required.
  • Develop System Integration Tests for the combined system to be delivered to the customer.
  • Execute the System Integration Tests, document the results, and deliver a test report to the Customer.
  • Ensure the test automation scripts support the regression testing of existing software functionality during each sprint
  • Ensure existing automated scripts can be modified, improved, and enhanced to increase the confidence that regression test results accurately reflect legacy functional performance.
  • Demonstrate portability of test frameworks so that they can be used on multiple infrastructure platforms through configuration
  • Use in-depth knowledge of test automation to address technical policies and procedures throughout the program
  • Demonstrate understanding of testing at multiple levels (Unit, Integration, System, etc.), collaborating to build a comprehensive test strategy and implementation.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Candidate should have a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of related work.

REQUIRED:

  • U.S. Citizen with active SECRET clearance
  • Experience with continuous integration tools and environments, and automated testing tools.
  • Experience implementing tests in various languages and environments
  • Ability to write test documentation
  • Ability and experience to interact with the Users, Customers, Business Analysts and Scrum Masters, and provide guidance on automation tools and testing methods to meet project specific needs
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodology, processes, and techniques. Experience working on Agile teams in a similar role.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills, and have the ability to express yourself in technical discussions
  • Excellent teamwork and collaborative skills, with the ability to lead and manage the effort of others when necessary

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience developing test automation as part of a team developing secure applications for the government
  • Familiarity with microservice architecture, asynchronous messaging, containerization, and related technology including Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience participating in a high performing, highly engaged and motivated team, with a mix of local and remote locations
  • Understanding of all elements of the software development life cycle
  • Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with a very strong work ethic; self-starter
  • Successful candidate will be imaginative, responsive and be able to communicate well with users, and provide programmatic presentations to the customer

Minimum physical demands for on task positions: Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
