The Treatment and Learning Centers is seeking a wonderful Therapist - Psychologist/SW/Counselor to join our practice working with children, teens and families. We are a team of psychologists, social workers, a dance and movement therapist, and licensed professional counselors. In addition, we collaborate with other disciplines at TLC including speech-language, occupation therapy, and audiology. This position is full-time or part-time with benefits. EOE

Responsibilities of the Therapist:

• Conduct initial diagnostic interview to determine the most appropriate service to be offered within TLC
• Provide individual, family, parent and group counseling services
• Maintain a caseload of 13 clients for part-time, and 24 clients for full time employment. Caseload may be altered for group therapy interventions.
• Ensure daily notes, goals, progress reports, and discharge reports are completed in a timely manner
• Conduct patient/parent conferencing in order to regularly document and summarize patient response to treatment

Requirements of the Therapist:

• Must have and maintain a current Maryland license as a psychologist PhD or PsyD ,psychologist associate, LCSW, LCPC, or LGPC. Must be in good standing with the licensing board
• Experience in the areas of learning disabilities, Autism and ADHD
• Friendly, collaborative therapist who seeks and gives feedback, and is passionate about working with children and families
• Organized and timely
• Commitment to evidenced based therapies with enthusiasm to grow in knowledge
• Commitment to serving diverse clients, including clients of diverse racial, linguistic, and ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+, as well as Autistic/Neurodivergent populations

As a condition of employment, all new hires are required to have received at least the first dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. New hires must receive any additional vaccine doses in the appropriate timeframes to be considered fully vaccinated and submit weekly test results until they are fully vaccinated. Requests for religious or medical exemptions will be reviewed and evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
