This is what your day may look like:
· Manage Delivery and/or Shuttle
· Work closely with other transportation managers, ensuring routes and deliveries are accurately executed.
· Ensure safety processes and procedures are met or exceeded by inspecting equipment, logs, DVIR’s, and Hours of service records.
· Be a positive self-starter that thrives working alone and in a team environment.
· Supervise a team of independent professional contractors.
· Supervise and monitor performance metrics- including survey and safety scores and Hours of Service.
· Work with all levels of management to build a positive work environment and improve team morale.
· Monitor all deliveries and routes in Dispatch Track/Motive from start to finish.
What we require:
· Minimum 2 years of logistics management experience
· Expertise in logistics management procedures and best practices
· Strong problem solving and leadership skills
· Knowledge of DOT laws and regulations
· Ability to work flex schedule and be on call as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
