Position Summary
Set-up & maintain lawn and garden equipment and small engines. Work on a variety of equipment from chainsaws to compact tractors specializing in John Deere. Consistently exhibit Kibble Equipment’s core values of Commitment, Passion, Progressiveness, Integrity, and Value Delivery.

Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000+

Essential Job Functions

• Provide set-up and repair of John Deere lawn and garden equipment
• Diagnose and repair small engines/equipment as needed
• Review and explain any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly with the customer and documents on work order
• Participate in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
• Maintain condition of inventory, tools, and equipment
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
• Account for all me and material used in performing assigned dues
• Interact in a positive and respectful manner with customers and fellow employees
• Perform other dues as assigned

Experience, Education, Skills & Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of small engines, electrical, fuel and hydraulic systems
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of turf equipment and small engines
• Ability to use Service Advisor, Microsoft Office applications, and basic computer functions
• Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
• Basic Service Technician certification preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required; Associates degree preferred
• Ability to work Saturdays/extended day hours as needed
