DPI Security has an immediate need for an On-Call (Flex) Unarmed Security Professional for the Portland and Metro area. The selected individual will provide foot patrol inside and out, access control as well as identify risks to staff and patrons while maintaining a friendly customer service environment.

The ideal candidate will have open availability (availability to work any shift) and be able to take shifts on short notice.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have excellent communication skills
• A working knowledge of Smart Phone and Computer technology
• Display a high level of professionalism and integrity
• Have great de-escalation skills
• Have a shown ability to interact well with the public
• Have a history of reliability
• Have previous security experience

Essential Functions:

• Provide appropriate security services on customer’s property as per site Post Orders
• Observe and report any unlawful or inappropriate activity as per contract
• Manage emergency situations and report as appropriate
• Maintain appropriate documentation of all security tours and any incident reports that may result
• Perform all work at DPI Security Services contract site to assure customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

• Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Must have GED or High School Diploma
• Must be 21 years of age or older per contract
• Must have, OR be able to obtain, Oregon State DPSST (training offered onsite to suitable applicants)
• Must be able to pass drug screen and 3 separate criminal background checks.
• Working knowledge of basic math, English grammar, writing and spelling for completion of required documentation.
• Good customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
