The Upholstery Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance to our furniture at all Maverick Washington locations, including dining chairs, booths, gaming chairs and table rails.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Re-upholstering torn gaming table rails
• Repairing chairs and re-upholstering the seats and backs as needed
• Adjust, stretch or replace webbing; replace padding or springs; secure furniture elements
• Work with warehouse manager to purchase fabrics, furnishings and colors
• Sewing/stitching of fabrics
• Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Performs other job duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year experience

SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• General knowledge of parts and tools necessary
• Critical-thinker, problem-solver
• Must hold state driver’s license
• Ability to interface effectively with the guests and colleagues
• Ability to speak, read and write English
