Job Summary
Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the campus building and grounds; performing unskilled and semi-skilled work required for the routine cleaning and upkeep of buildings to insure that the facilities are ready for daily use. Also responsible for routine cleaning, project cleaning, event set-ups and upkeep of equipment used in the performance of these duties.
Required Qualifications
1. High school diploma/GED with a stable work or education history.
2. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and order, keep materials and tools organized, and make judicious use of all resources including work time, equipment and materials. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
3. Valid Michigan Driver’s license and College approved driving record.
4. Ability to prioritize and satisfy workload demands to fulfill supervisor’s instructions and customer needs.
5. Ability to effectively complete multiple, prioritized tasks and meet deadlines.
6. Ability to work alone or with others.
7. Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical exam as arranged by Schoolcraft College.
