Value Add Technician

And right now, we need a Value Add Technician to join our team of energetic people in the warehouse. Our warehouse team is made up of people who are good with their hands, love to build and package things, and have great attention to detail. As a NEFF Value Add Technician, you will help keep our customers happy in many ways, including:

• Ability to use hand tools to cut and crimp wire and wire terminals.
• Ability to use automated wire stripping and crimping equipment.
• Basic understanding and ability to read technical drawings.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools.
• Communicates and documents project specifications and completion status for customers and Outside Sales.
• Participates in the building and delivery of pneumatic assemblies and 80/20 projects.
• Ensures that all part numbers, quantities and customer addresses were entered correctly on purchase orders.
• Receives Value Add and 80/20 materials according to project needs and production schedule.
• Tracks assembly projects.
• Maintains documentation for Job Files.
• Performs other duties as required and assigned.
• Understanding of electrical principles and panel components
• Understanding of mechanical and structural principles
• Understanding of fluid power principles (pneumatics and hydraulics)

Education and Experience

• A relevant Associate's Degree or a minimum of 3-5 years of technical, electrical, pneumatic or controls experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD software.
• Computer literacy is strongly preferred.
• Strong customer focus.
