Come work your magic with our team while having fun too! We are seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Manager that possess a passion for our sports, business, customers and employees. Under the general supervision of the Director of Operations, the Vehicle Maintenance Manager is responsible for the safe operation of the Vehicle Maintenance Shop and equipment.
Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Oversee the maintenance of all fleet vehicles, snowmobiles, heavy equipment, snow cats, trucks, atv’s
Develop annual budget and work within those parameters.
Oversee staffing needs including selecting, coaching, and training employees and evaluation employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
Train staff of all safety procedures, as well as assist with training for specialty maintenance certificates.
Manages employees to ensure performance and cost focus efficiency across the department.
Discipline staff as needed to maintain safe working conditions.
Set daily and weekly schedules.
Qualifications:
Must possess strong communication and organization skills, and communicate effectively with other departments.
Use a wide variety of hand and power tools, cutting torches and welding equipment.
Ability to manage, track and forecast spending.
Must have previous mechanical experience
