Based in Los Angeles, you will be a Video Conferencing Services Manager and be an integral part of our Global Video Conference Services department.

This role reports to the Senior Video Conferencing Services Manager.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing daily operational and technical support of video conferences connected via an endpoint and/or video conference bridge along with hybrid meetings using MS Teams, Webex, Zoom and other platforms.
  • White glove video conference technical support for all video conferencing.
  • Video conference bridge administration including scheduling, creating & managing user accounts, and escalating issues to the appropriate teams, when necessary.
  • Assisting in the setup and support of Web Conferencing using various platforms and technologies, when necessary.
  • Working with outside vendors to resolve issues and perform updates/upgrades, as needed.
  • Supporting the operation, maintenance and repairs to the audio visual/video conference equipment, and its related software and network components.
  • Testing the audio visual/video conference equipment on a regular basis (video conferencing codecs, displays, cameras, microphones, etc.) with each office’s video support team.
  • Collaborating with attorneys and staff to ensure that the Firm’s audio visual and video conferencing technologies are meeting their requirements.
  • Acting as liaison between Operations, Telecommunications, and the local IS Support teams.
  • Training the end users on the operation of systems, sufficient to have a successful conference.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical skills to perform equipment setup, testing, and troubleshooting associated with any hardware, software, or programming malfunctions within the video conference and audio visual environment. Equipment includes codecs, control systems, cameras, displays, microphones, PCs and more.
  • Familiarity with all types of AV equipment and control systems including, but not limited to Cisco codecs and Crestron hardware.
  • Basic understanding of LAN/WAN hardware and software for switches, hubs, routers, bridges, modems, multiplexors, point-to-point date circuits via copper and fiber for audio and video.
  • Experience in setup, configuration, and troubleshooting to the network level on Cisco and Zoom room systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of legacy and state of the art multimedia systems and equipment used in best of class conference centers, including video-conferencing.
  • Administer a conference room scheduling software application, which will also front end the video conference endpoints.
  • Experience with coordinating and managing events in multiple offices, utilizing local resources for on site technical support and set up.
  • Ability to manage vendors, equipment manufacturers, and integrators to install, test and configure new systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills related to video conferencing, and AV equipment.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and leading others including those located in other offices or in remote locations.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to communicate either in person, email or by phone with attorneys, staff and clients.
  • Familiarity with Visio and Camtasia (or similar video editing software), general knowledge of Windows 10/11 and working in a domain environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. Prior experience with WebEx, Zoom, and MS Teams is necessary.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or technical school training with equivalent experience also considered.
  • Experience in the legal industry is preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of video conference experience.

Compensation & Benefits:
The annual compensation range for this position is $95-105k. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
