Visual Merchandiser - Collegiate Gifts & Clothing Job at Tri-County Ace - West Union/Walhalla
Full time corporate visual merchandiser needed for multi-store retailer with fast growing seasonal / collegiate gifts and clothing categories. Position offers the exciting career opportunity for the responsibilities to expand and include buying administration and oversight of the growth and profitability of these departments.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement creative retail merchandise displays.
Create seasonal themes that maximize customer interest.
Promote new products through merchandising creativity.
Plan a merchandise layout to engage customers.
Execute and monitor promotional sales events.
Process and receive merchandise shipments and transfers between our stores.
Managing inventory accuracy to increase sales.
Train merchandising fundamentals to store associates.
Maintain accurate promotional pricing and signage.
Activating promotions to sell through seasonal merchandise.

Requirements:
Ability to create attractive displays that maximize sales without the assistance of plan-o-grams or guides.
Travel between all of our locations; currently includes – Seneca, Walhalla, Clemson, Liberty, Pickens and Piedmont.
Detail oriented.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
Strong communication skills.
Perform merchandising assignments in all departments throughout the store.
Maintain a neat and professional appearance.
Qualifications:
Must be able to perform frequent standing, walking, squatting, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying fixtures and merchandise up to 50 lbs. to the sales floor.
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous merchandising experience preferred.
Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, a plus.
