Immediate need for morning shift (7am to 3pm)
The Cotton Mill Cafe in Beverly, MA is looking for a Server / Cashier. We are located at 480 Rantoul St. We are a new cafe, with a fun and friendly atmosphere. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and hard-working. We are looking for fun, energetic, hard-working, and dedicated people to join our team!
Responsibilities:
- Dedication to providing outstanding Customer Service including Greeting and Engaging the customer.
- Check-in with guests to make sure they are enjoying their meals and correct any problems.
- Assist customers with ordering by answering menu questions or making recommendations upon request.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using a Point-of-Sale system and communicate order details to the kitchen staff as needed.
- Process payment transactions using Point-of-Sale system.
- Inform guests about loyalty and reward programs, specials, and promotions.
- Up-sell any additional products when appropriate.
- Stay up to date on any menu changes and daily specials.
- Stock all inventory.
- Clear away dirty plates, glassware, flatware, and linens. Clean tables after guests have finished.
- Committed to maintaining a clean and organized workspace with an emphasis on food safety practices.
- Ability to Multitask.
Qualifications /Skills:
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers
- Good customer service and people skills.
- Have flexible availability, including early mornings, afternoons, nights, and weekend
- Candidates will be subject to Criminal Record Check, Background Check, and Drug Test
