Job Description
Business Support Manager [BSM] Position Summary
Business Support Manager supports the Sales Leader and collaborates both internally and externally with resources to achieve their team objectives. We expect this person to take ownership of team tasks and oversee them to completion on time. Additionally, this person must be accountable to deliver on business needs for the team’s multiple clients.
Candidate must have amazing written and oral communication skills and highly organized. Must be able to manage the numerous contacts required across multiple retailers and clients. BSM impacts the business through Collaboration, proactive planning and project management, driving the execution of multiple projects, across multiple clients, for Replenishment, Logistics, and Sales. Get it done mindset, while maintaining detail and accuracy, is a must. Positive mental attitude and eager to learn are also a must.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
Collaboration with Clients and Customers
- Works directly with clients and Walmart / Sams Club counterparts to manage instock levels,
Store/DC inventory, forecasts, OTIF and SQEP compliance. Be able to identify problems and take steps to correct any and all issues whether they be on our client’s or Walmart’s end.
- Train suppliers, peers, and other business partners on replenishment and Walmart supply chain expectations, packaging standard and other best practices.
Weekly Reporting
- Responsible for utilizing internally provided sales and replenishment reporting to provide clients with Weekly Recaps – Communicate weekly reporting to buying team and clients, while communicating any issues or highlights to the sales leader.
- Identifying concerns with root cause analysis, take actions to correct replenishment issues until resolved
- Additional responsibilities may include seasonal analysis, demand planning, policy recommendations, order recommendations, and forecast recommendations for multiple clients. Work with our Analytics Team as needed.
Project Management
- Walmart.com and Brick & Mortar Item Management – Supplier Center, Item Maintenance, New Item creation (Import, Domestic, Data Sync, Sam’s IDM), Item 360
- Supply Chain - Lead time audits, supply chain optimization, OTIF
- QMS – Quote entry, tagging, delivering samples to layout
- Category Line Reviews – Active with data collection, analysis, layout of LR presentation, including market research, consumer insights, and Walmart form population via managers direction.
- Testing and Compliance – CTL, Product testing, Packaging guidelines
- Vendor Profiles – Factory ID setup, vendor agreements, ship point, 3PL, factory Audit, Brand ID’s

- Minimal Travel - as business requires, normal day is 8-5pm, however certain times of the year may require working late
- Product Handling - Occasional lifting of up to 30lbs
Probable Candidate Profile
- 2+ years working with Walmart - Account Management/Replenishment/ and/or Analytics
- Supply Chain Knowledge with Direct Import, Collect, Prepaid, Domestic Supply, 3 Tier and/or DSV
- Retail Link and Walmart.com Ninja
- Excel and Microsoft Office Guru. Sufficient familiarity with web-based tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to direct others to help reach a positive outcome as needed.
- Managing competing priorities effectively
- Power BI, Tableau and/or SQL skills are cool factors
- Vocal and engaging in discussions related to the business success
- Additional experience outside Walmart working with Amazon, Target, Home Depot, Menards, Kroger Etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
