JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION DETAILS: 9-5pm, Exempt position. However, additional hours are required as needed.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: It is the Warehouse & Facilities Manager responsibility to oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning. The ideal candidate will be well-organized and able to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating and labor costs. Leadership abilities include being able to travel and step in during emergencies to assist in warehouse tasks. Exceptional efficiency is a requirement of this position. The goal of the Warehouse & Facilities Manager is to ensure our business's accommodation is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overseeing and assisting in warehouse distribution, operations, and security.
• Proactive Performance Management of Warehouse Staff
• Analyzing and reporting on warehouse activity.
• Managing Facility: Fleet, truck keys, door issues, alarm codes, maintenance, mail, new tech checklist, parts and equipment inspections, IT equipment & specialty tool inventory/ordering.
• Implementing and documenting operational & administrative policies and procedures to encourage safety and efficiency.
• Coordinating and building vendor relationships

FACILITIES INFORMATION:

• Square footage: 8,000 sq ft. (5,000 office space, 3,000 warehouse space)
• Supervise: 1-2 delivery drivers and 1-2 logistics clerks

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Preferred 3-6 years in managing facilities and/or warehouses.
• Initiative and drive to create efficient warehouse workflows to meet deadlines.
• The ability to understand and build warehouse management procedures
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
• Proficient computer and analytical skills
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
• Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
• Proactive mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
• Minimum Educational requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid drivers' license

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Requires sitting, standing, and walking at a computer and/or workstation, sometimes for extended periods of time
• Ability to travel to different warehouse locations as needed on a regular basis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
