Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the unloading of vehicles and check-in the stock.
- Sort and place items on racks, and shelves.
- Sign for shipments upon receipt and verify that the correct merchandise has been received.
- Inspect the merchandise for any damage and discrepancies.
- Maintain an accurate record of all merchandise received and distributed.
- Collect items from throughout the warehouse, prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.
- Stock counting and location checks.
Job Description
Warehouse workers are responsible for all tasks related to sorting, processing, and packing of items that are delivered to warehouses for storage.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma.
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Able to lift and move heavy objects.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Detail–oriented and good organizational skills.
