Position Overview

Responsible for pulling boats from the warehouse, transferring boats to the dock, and loading boats onto trailers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Read order specifications and pulls boats, paddles, and accessories to match order

· Load complete order onto trailers

· Wrap boats as required by order(s)

· Move boats from staging area to the loading dock

· Receive and unload boats from trailers coming from remote warehouse or being returned by retailer

· Restock received boats back in inventory in assigned location

· Use hand scanner to scan boats when removing from inventory and when placing back into inventory

· Maintain a safe work environment; wear required PPE provided by the Company

· Abide by and actively promote all facility safety guidelines and quality procedures

· Maintain a channel of communication with supervisor and team members

· Maintain 5S standards in work area

· Actively participate in plant improvement projects

· Ensure established quality and production guidelines are maintained to support Operations

· Perform all aspects of the job in accordance with the safety standards set forth by the Company

· Make optimum use of time and keep work area clean and neat

· Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

· Must have high school diploma, GED, or equivalent

· Previous warehouse experience, such as knowledge in packaging and shipping, is a plus

· Comfortable working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment

· Able to frequently lift, move and lower boats/boxes up to 75 pounds

· Open to receiving feedback and works well in a team environment

· Ability to read and comprehend written work instructions and memos

· Must be able to stand and move the duration of the shift

· Must have strong attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills

· Working knowledge of scan guns and inventory software

· Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $14.00 per hour
