Our mission is to be the Stone Fabricator that Homebuilders, Designers and Re-modelers in Central Texas seek to work with on their projects.

Job Description

We are looking for an honest and positive person to work with a team to organize the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of warehoused goods. This is a working supervisor.

Role and Responsibilities

• Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock
• Manage material handling associates, monitoring work, and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment
• Manage Inventory Control/Receiving staff, process and physical space.
• Oversees accuracy of material and transaction being delivered to work cells
• Executes daily inventory cycle counts; identifies and resolves discrepancies and problems.
• Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
• Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with operations management and other team leads
• Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees' skillsets
• Communicates with Purchasing and Accounting Departments regarding new items, changes of location, counts, etc.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure products are received and shipped in a timely manner
• Operate forklift as needed

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications
• Computer Skills are a requirement
• Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals and motivate
• Exceptional time management and organization skills
• Minimum experience of 3 years in a supervisory role in related area required.
• Effective communication and people management skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Possess a high work ethic, moral and personal integrity, and honesty.
• Be able to function independently yet be an effective team member.

Preferred Skills:

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Requirements

• This job requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally.

Salary: Range: $50,000-$56,000 based on experience with company bonus plan
