Position Summary
Under the general supervision of the Manager, Athletic Program/Activities, this individual performs supervisory, administrative and essential operational duties to support the day-to-day functions within the Wellness Center. Responsibilities include supervising the staff, developing new programs, marketing the Center and programs offered, managing membership records and renewals, staff training and wellness programs training. The Wellness Center is open 86 hours over six days per week in an 18,000 sq ft facility with separate rooms containing state of the art cardio equipment, selectorized resistance equipment, free weights, fitness assessment equipment, and men’s and women’s locker rooms with saunas. With an annual operating budget of $600,000, the center is staffed by a total of twelve full time and student employees.
