Wellness Director - Located in Pullman, WA

We are a Regional Senior Care provider, seeking an experienced Wellness Director (RN) to lead our wellness programs and dedicated clinical team in Eastern Washington.

Candidates must demonstrate excellent leadership skills, organization, solid time management, and the ability to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced environment. A passion for quality improvement and exceptional clinical outcomes and the ability to teach, train and mentor is a must. Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the direct supervision of community-based licensed, certified, and non-certified clinical team members.
  • Provide coordination and oversight of health and supportive services offered to residents of the community.
  • Assigns and directs work of resident care team, appraise performances: rewards, and respectfully disciplines associates to ensure the highest quality outcomes. Courteously manages conflicts and complaints within the staff and resident communities.
  • Coordinate wellness care program with residents, family, physicians, consultants, and other community departments as well as regional and corporate support staff.
  • Assess and observe residents’ physical and psychosocial needs and coordinate to assure proactive care.
  • Monitor resident incident reports and medication error reports and meet with residents regularly to ensure care needs are met.

Requirements:

  • Possess a Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing, or the ability to obtain Washington State RN License.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in geriatric nursing, including experience with medication administration, delivery systems, and pharmacies.
  • Engage in respectful and creative problem-solving in both resident care and employee management.
  • Experience working with Washington State regulations a plus.
