Performs any and all administrative task as directed by the Deputy Superintendent and/or Office of School Performance Administrator2.

Maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality related to work and information handled by the Office of School Performance and/or Deputy Superintendent3. Welcomes visitors and arranges for their comfort and screens unexpected callers in accordance with predetermined policy4. Handles calendar management and overall logistics for meetings and conferences5. Provides assistance to the Superintendent and Sr.

Executive Assistant in all matters of official correspondence and in the generation of any related periodic reports 6. Assists in the organization and preparation of l information pertinent to the department and the District7. Prepares confidential correspondence and documents8. Any other related duties as required by the Deputy Superintendent or Office of School Performance Administrator with excellent attention to detailQUALIFICATIONS: 1.

A minimum of three (3) years of successful secretarial experience within a public or private organization's management office preferred2. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with staff, parents and the community3. Demonstrated ability to collect, process and maintain confidential data related to staff and/or students4. Demonstrated ability to apply sound policies and procedures as it relates to maintaining confidentiality, coordinating multiple tasks and scheduling work efficiently flexibility is a must5.

Demonstrated ability to contribute to a professional office atmosphere and has strong interpersonal and communication skills6. Demonstrated ability to prepare official correspondence, organize information and generate periodic reports7. Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work collaboratively with others within a central management office8. Strong writing skills and full proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint9.

Operates computers, calculators, copiers and facsimile machines9. Excellent attendance record is essentialTERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Non Union Position12 month work year35-40 hour per weekSalary: $50,000- $55,000.00 (based on experience)At least 3 years of relevant experience preferred
