GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The System Administrator is primarily responsible for building and maintaining all aspects of the corporate infrastructure. The position will evaluate new products, design and maintain a virtual host environment, and designs and maintains storage appliances.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting LL Flooring Data Center and Core Infrastructure
• Perform network analysis to review current and new Infrastructure requirements, and provide an operational roadmap for system equipment to maintain a simplified, secure, scalable, and highly available LL Flooring server infrastructure.
• Maintain Data Center documentation to include updating Visio diagrams, Backups, Server equipment inventory, and Disaster Recovery plans.
• Maintain communication with vendors as well as the LL Flooring service desk for status updates and to ensure the work is completed.
• Respond to Data Center outages and trouble calls at all LL Flooring facilities and sites.
• Work with various corporate office / retail staff members to assess, diagnose, mitigate, and resolve application issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hypervisors, storages, backups, replication, Azure AVD, Azure Infrastructure, Office 365, Exchange, Sharepoint, Active Directory
• Mentor and collaborate with team members and cross-functional organizations.
• Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Assisting with Disaster Recovery Management for all locations.
• Participate in an on-call 24x7 rotation or weekend work along with other Administrators and Engineers
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of relevant, broad technical experience as an Infrastructure Administrator.
• Bachelor’s degree in the IT field or equivalent work experience required
