Per Mar Security Services is seeking Entry Level and Experienced Alarm Response Officers to join our expanding team! Are you looking to change careers? Need a foot in the door for a new start?

Patrolling and monitoring various locations in the Rockford area, and responding to any security alarms that may be set off.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• 
  Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security when called upon
• Monitor mobile stops to act as a deterrent for crimes
• Visit multiple sites during shift
• Comfortable driving for long periods of time
• Responds to home and business alarms – Checking for break-ins, perimeter checks, false alarms
• Ability to respond to potential emergency situations with confidence and ease
• Document and write reports of events that may happen during a shift
• Works with another officer to respond to alarms and monitor mobile stops during shift.
• Reminds violators of premise rules and regulations
• Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
• Report any facility issues

Qualifications:

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Drive for long periods of time
• Good oral and written skills
• Good communication
• Adaptable
• Reliable
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Willingness to support a team
• Good driving record, no accidents or violations within the last 3 years
• Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.
• Must be willing to participate n the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
