Building/Grounds Maintenance - Up to $17 hr. Job at Nixon Medical
Job description
We are searching for a Building/Grounds Maintenance associate to join our Maintenance Team for carrying out the routine facility maintenance and repairs of such things as broken or burnt-out lighting, relocating furniture, trash removal, grounds clean up, etc.
What You’ll Be Doing:
· Perform general building maintenance including but not limited to:
· Replacement of burnt bulbs, lighting fixtures
· Relocating furniture or office equipment
· Trash removal
· Cleaning of production area floor
· Grounds clean up
· Painting of facility walls
· Assist with replacement of doors, electrical wiring, etc. as needed
· Maintain organized work area.
· Operate power tools and other required equipment in accordance to OSHA and company safety standards.
· Complete assigned repairs in a timely manner & according to Company standards
· Notify supervisor of needed repairs or areas of maintenance concern.
· Other duties as assigned.
What We Require:
· Good working knowledge and skill in techniques and procedures required for repair and maintenance of facilities requirements.
· High School Diploma or GED
· Experience working in production environment-Preferred
· Should have excellent organizational and decision-making skills.
· Must be able to work independently and efficiently in an often fast-paced environment.
· Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk up and down stairs/steps repeatedly throughout most of the workday.
· Must be able to use computerized system/software.
· Must be able to tolerate loud noise, temperatures (heat & cold), and other exposures in the production area. (Safety Equipment will be supplied).
· Normal lifting of up to 50 pounds is possible.
