Richmond Heights Place is seeking a compassionate, caring and kind Caregiver
Full Time 3-11pm.

As a Caregiver/Resident Assistant you will get to interact directly with residents, provide comfort, monitor vital signs, assist with daily living needs and routine nursing care,
A CNA certification is not required, but recommended On the job training is provided! This is your chance to launch a satisfying and exciting career in the stable and growing healthcare industry!
As a Caregiver you may also participate in our Career Step program and receive education assistance to advance your career toward positions with more responsibility, skill, and compensation. After 30-90 days of successful work eligibility for attendance to STNA course with paid compensation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; provides fresh water and serves between meal and bedtime snacks.
- Provides residents with quality personal hygiene by giving bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, and shaves; assisting with travel to the bathroom; helping with showers and baths.
- Observes any changes in resident physical or mental status and communicates to the Administrator or Resident Assistant Supervisor.
- Provides laundry and housekeeping services to residents, as assigned.
- Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' call lights and requests; reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
- Assists with resident activity programs as assigned.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Strong desire to work the elderly and those with memory loss.
- Consistently demonstrates a pleasant demeanor, tone of voice, supports the philosophy and approach to care used by the Community.
- Ability to multitask and willingness to learn.
- Keeps resident information confidential; respects resident’s rights, respects privacy and right to self-determination of residents.
- Capable of working overtime and alternate shifts as needed. This position may require work on evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Comes to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior Care Partner experience preferred, but not required. On the job training available!
