Chef (Indian Cuisine / Multi-Cuisine) Job at Veritas Healthcare
We are looking for a full-time chef. Chef should have primary knowledge in Indian cuisine with knowledge / interest to learn additional cuisines. Chef responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes.
Responsibilities
- Study recipes and gather all necessary ingredients
- Cook food in a timely manner
- Modify recipes to meet dietary requests
- Monitor food stock and place orders
- Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
- Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
Skills
- Proven experience as a Chef of Indian cuisine
- Hands-on experience with various kitchen equipment
- Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
- 3 years prior experience as a chef preferred
