The Opportunity

  • Adjudicate and/or adjust physical damage and mechanical claims for the ClearGuard product line. Assist with technical case handling and reviewing declines to dealerships.

The Work Itself

  • Effectively communicate with dealerships to acquire pertinent repair information.
  • Respond to inbound calls and written correspondence from dealerships to assist with case inquiries.
  • Document customer interactions and decisions made.
  • Communicate information effectively, keep appropriate parties informed.
  • Consistently follow up on aging cases.
  • Negotiate arbitrations within policy guidelines.
  • Follow all internal, state, and UDAAP guidelines.
  • May be responsible for case exceptions/special case approvals.
  • Must be capable of acquiring P&C Adjuster state licensing.
  • Other duties as directed by manager.

The Skills You Bring

  • 2 + years' experience in automotive repair industry required if candidate has a HS diploma or equivalent degree. Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in business or other related fields may be used as a proxy for the years of experience requirement.
  • Strong mechanical and property damage background with ability to communicate effectively with dealerships to acquire pertinent information.
  • Ability to negotiate and make quick decisions.
  • Performs clerical, administrative and technically based activities and/or supporting tasks.
  • Typically requires intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Intermediate written and oral communication skills.
