Direct Support Professional (DSP) / CNA - Lincoln Parish - Ruston Job at Americare
As a caregiver at Americare, you’ll build relationships and improve the quality of life of the elderly/disabled population who are in need of love and care. Your goal will be to help individuals enjoy life by helping them perform their simple daily functions: personal care reminders (brushing teeth and getting dressed), meal prep, light housekeeping, and transportation to/from activities. Your compassion and diligence as a caregiver will bring joy into the lives of the clients you work with and help them feel encouraged, involved and loved. We currently have a young, male client in Ruston whom we are in need of a DSW for regularly scheduled shifts on Wednesday and Thursday (6:30AM-4:00PM) and an occasional extra shift. DSW training and CPR certification is provided by the company. You must have a clean background, valid driver's license, good driving history, reliable transportation and current auto insurance/registration. A minimum of one year experience is preferred for this position. We are looking to hire immediately!
