POSITION SUMMARY

DUTIES

• Operate dishwasher machine.
• Clean food service equipment as directed. Wash and clean pots, pans and other food service equipment. Air dry all dinnerware, pots and pans and then put away, following all sanitation standards and according to the established cleaning schedule.
• Put dry goods stock away when delivered.
• Remove trash and garbage as directed. Flatten and take out all cardboard boxes to the recycle bin.
• Mop floors and walk in coolers and freezers, on a daily basis, following all sanitation standards and according to the established cleaning schedule.
• Work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and residents.
• Perform other related job duties as assigned.

LICENSURE / CERTIFICATION

Washington State Food Handler’s Permit.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

• Read, write, communicate in and interpret English at a functional level.
• Ability to work collaboratively with supervisor, coworkers and residents.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE

Restaurant or Nursing Home experience.
