Blue Sky Pet Services is looking for a super star dog walker to grow with us as we move forward. We are professional established pet care business providing dog walks, and pet sitting visits. Our main service areas include West and Northwest Knox County (Karns, Ball Camp, West Hills, Rocky Hill, Cedar Bluff, Hardin Valley, Clinton Hwy/Western Avenue and parts of Powell). We also do some walks/sits in the downtown area.

We are looking for a dog walker who is passionate about pets and their humans, energetic, professional, with strong pet care knowledge and experience. Must be comfortable with big dogs and small dogs. We are looking for someone who would like to join a team dedicated to providing exceptional, reliable, and professional pet care to the West and Northwest Knox County area. Hours are flexible but would mostly be between 9am and 5pm Monday through Friday. You would start out with a few hours per week and build from there as your experience increases and based on need.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and can train on multiple jobs and times, including HOLIDAYS.

This is a supplemental income job. This job is great for empty nesters and retirees or anyone looking for some additional income. This would not be a full time job at this time.

Our ideal new hire will meet the following requirements:

• Previous pet care experience (your own, or those of others)
• Comfortable with all breeds of dogs. Experience with a wide range of animal temperaments is desired.
• Flexible schedule including day and HOLIDAY hours as needed.
• Professional and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to respond to texts and emails in a timely manner.
• Reliable transportation.
• Smart phone for scheduling and communication with team & clients.
• 21 years or older and willing to undergo a criminal background check.
• Willingness to work in inclement weather including rain, sleet, snow, heat, and humidity.
• Some ability to work nights and weekends as needed would be a plus

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Client meet and greets.
• Visiting pet homes.
• Feeding and administering medications.
• Walking dogs on various terrain.
• Waste disposal, cleaning litter boxes, and any other messes created by pets.
• Following specific care instructions provided by owners.
• Use pet sitting app for scheduling, care instructions, access household information, and communicating with clients.
• Having fun!
