Job Description:

Coherent Technical Services, Inc is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Junior to Journeyman level) specializing in System Integration activities to support the Joint Precision Approach Landing System (JPALS) In Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) at Pax River, MD. The role will perform the following tasks:

· Performing integration and test of Navy landing systems and supporting efforts to maintain fleet readiness.

· Support development and integration of design enhancements that address future needs.

· Conduct system level regression tests.

· Collect, analyze, and process system data and determine if new software releases meet requirements.

· Develop and modify existing documents, test points and procedures.

· Produce metrics, document test activity, and present technical reports and status briefings on test results.

· Represent Systems Engineering at meetings, programmatic events, and during ship system installations.

· Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for fleet use.

Education:

· B.S. degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from an accredited school.

Experience:

· This position requires at least 2 years’ experience assisting with or leading engineering investigations.

· Experience with network data collection and analysis tools including Wireshark.

· Experience developing technical drawings using Microsoft Visio or related tools.

· Basic understanding of network protocols, fiber optics power distribution and discrete signals.

· Familiar with electronic test equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and networking tools.

U.S. Citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility. Must be able to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.

Candidate must have the ability to work in a team environment; provide constructive alternatives/approaches to solving issues; be flexible; have a strong sense of urgency for critical tasks; and must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while effectively managing schedule and communicating process.

Candidate selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
