Equine Barn Crew Member Job at Brazos Valley Equine Hospitals
Brazos Valley Equine Hospitals - Salado has an immediate opening on our team for a motivated individual to help us care for horses. We are a premier group of equine practices with multiple locations in Texas. We are a busy, interactive practice with over 70+ team members and we believe in our ability to help people through the care of horses. If you have a desire to help improve the lives of horse owners and help us to grow our business, we want to talk to you. We are seeking a team player to work with our veterinary staff and hospital technicians. Horse experience is required.
Applicants must be able to maintain routine physical activity, possess a steady personality, be able to build relationships with our clients, and have the ability to manage their time. This position will require communication and teamwork skills.
Duties include (but are not limited to)
- Oversight of hospital appearance and cleanliness
- Maintain lawn, trees, flowerbeds, and building
- Parking lot maintenance
- Maintain facility mechanical maintenance
- Maintain equipment and tool maintenance
- Cleaning responsibilities such as stalls, buckets, shovels, and more
- Feeding and watering hospital patients
This position is supported by an office manager, operations manager, hospital and lab coordinator, and receptionists along with part time office and technical staff. This position will work in the Salado office. We offer medical and retirement benefits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
