Summary/objective
Daily care and livestock feeding. Candidates must have good verbal communication skills, possess a can-do attitude and a strong sense of self-accountability. Essential functions
- Work with feed delivery software system to ensure that proper rations are loaded and fed to the proper location.
- Operate heavy equipment to deliver feed, perform feedlot yard maintenance and cleaning.
- Perform equipment servicing and inspection and minor repairs according to maintenance requirements.
- Monitors cattle health and treats sick, injured, or stressed animals.
- Assists with the receiving, shipping, sorting, and processing of cattle.

- Adequate verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours occasionally
- The ability to work with a team.
Work environment
- You may be required to work at times in extreme weather conditions, such as rain, snow, wind, heat and cold.
- Ability to weekends, and holiday when shift requires.
Required education and experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Preferred education and experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment in a feedlot setting.
- Experience working with cattle and cattle feeding systems.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
