Global Head of People and Culture Job at Scholle IPN

Summary:

The Global Head of People & Culture at Scholle IPN is a new position to serve as a strategic yet tactical key catalyst for the business growth and integration in North America and Europe as well as coordination of P&C activities in regions such as Australia, India, and South America, and in support of the recent acquisition of IPN Scholle by SIG Group.
The position holder will be responsible for the People & Culture strategy for SIPN North America and Europe, creating short- and long-term sustainable strategies in alignment with SIG Group guidelines and collaboration with SIG HR Leadership in Europe and North America.
As a key member of the SIPN Global Leadership team, your leadership, coaching, and support will be essential to all SIPN leadership in talent and performance management. In addition, this position will ensure best practices in employer branding, talent management, and retention by fostering an inclusive culture where SIPN employees own their development and SIPN leaders reveal the full potential of their teams.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Present the annual P&C strategy, with its clear objectives and defined timelines ensuring the deployment and execution by the SIPN People & Culture teams; Development and implementation optimizing the organizational climate and workforce engagement.
  • Ensure P&C integration plans are executed for North America and Europe aligned with "Better Together: Join forces" strategies and organizational design and in collaboration with SIG P&C COEs and regional P&C leaders.
  • Ensure Rewards reviews and projects, including job architecture and global grading are delivered consistently and with a global approach. A significant focus will be on change management, coordination, integration, and communication for alliances and deliverables.
  • Design a Staffing People Plan and workforce planning approach focusing on organizational capabilities and future business demands.
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the laws and organizational guidelines & rules, fostering a culture of ethics, compliance, and standards and within the parameters of all certifying institutions and the audits required by the company and customers. Build relationships and negotiate with works councils and unions as needed and, when escalated by local HR is responsible.
  • Ensure implementation of P&C tools methodologies and benchmarking, in all areas, to apply interventions that support managers to have their teams prepared, motivated and active in achieving the objectives.
  • Monitor the main P&C KPIs and create action plans to address & mediate impactful trends such as turnover, absenteeism, leaves, accidents, and others.
  • Develop diagnostics and solutions for the organization or specific areas that demonstrate the need for intervention and support, creating services that support the achievement of the performance and engagement of employees.
  • Lead the North American and European SIPN People & Culture team, ensuring an appropriate deployment of objectives, tactical plans, support and monitoring, and team development; Coordinate SIPN P&C activities globally (Australia, South America, India)
  • Deliver the functional annual budget, always with the attitude of the best cost x benefit and focusing on high-quality processes that guarantee engagement and employees' well-being.
  • Align SIPN's internal People communication process, ensuring the alignment of all channels with the company's strategy and with a global approach and branding.
  • Act proactively and sustainably with a keen awareness of the environmental impacts and identify ways to minimize them, as well as be committed to the environmental policy established by the company to ensure compliance with SIG Combibloc standards.

Education:

  • Complete Graduation degree / Complete Post-graduation or MBA

Work Experience and/or Skills:

  • Bilingual in German, Spanish, or Dutch is a plus but not a requirement
  • 15 years of HR experience
  • 10+ of strong leadership experience
  • Experience in due diligence and integration associated with Mergers and Acquisitions preferred.
  • Proficient with HR tools and Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Empathy and adaptive capabilities in understanding and in inclusion of other perspectives and willingness to learn and change
  • Exceptional Communications skills
  • Leads high performing teams and embodies a teamwork attitude
  • High orientation on customers, quality, and outcomes
