White River Area Agency on Aging is seeking individuals to work in Mountain View and the entire Stone County area in our in-Home services program as a Home Care Assistant (HCA). We have several opportunities available with both full and part-time positions. Flexible hours during the week and some weekends are available. As an HCA you will be working directly with an individual in an in-home setting providing aid, guidance, and care to help individuals keep and maintain their highest level of personal independence. If you are looking for a job that has purpose and positively impacts others, this may be a good fit for you. If hired, WRAAA provides a Personal Care Aid (PCA) training program designed to help each individual be successful as an HCA. Our training program includes shadowing an experienced HCA to help acclimate every new hire into their work environment. As an HCA, you are required to have or obtain a current PCA certification, or a CNA certification, or have at least one year of documentable experience working in an institutional setting, or a home health agency. Full-time benefits include health insurance and an Employee Assistance Program, PTO, paid holidays, a 401k plan, as well as bonus programs. Sign on bonuses $100 after 30 full days. $200.00 after 90-day evaluation and $250.00 at the 6-month employment mark. WRAAA is an EOE
